Introduction

MatrixDvD Player is the first Windows software which can playback DVD movies over multiple monitors. It bases on Microsoft DirectX architecture and renders pictures fully using the hardware accelerator of video cards.  It supports three rendering modes

• Clone or mirror mode
• Span or stretch mode
• Select or mask mode

Under multiple monitors environment, which can be constructed by using multiple single-port video cards or one multi-port (dual or quad ports) video card, this software works fine.

Features

• MatrixDvD is developed on Microsoft DirectX (Ver 7.0 or above), it supports DirectShow architecture and is compatible with other software's codec filters, this video rendering filter can substitute Microsoft's traditional filters such as VMR7 or VMR9.
• It fully uses hardware's acceleration on image rendering and pixel shader provided by video card. On video/audio decoder and image transformation, it refers some multimedia processing instructions of CPUs such as MMX/SSE/SSE2/3DNOW.
• It supports basic DVD playback functions such as play/pause/stop/fast-forward/rewind control, menu/subtitle/audio language/aspect ratio setting.
• It allows user to select three display mode: span, clone and mask. At span mode, the video's picture can be stretched across all monitors to make a large screen. At clone mode, all monitors display the same picture. At mask mode, user can select which monitors will be rendered on and which not, among the selected monitors, user can also set span or clone mode.
